Interviewing on Clemson Library Bridge

Thanks to all who read my “Students for Life” blog post. I had no idea it would blow up like that, or where the story would go. That’s the beauty of journalism!

Besides covering the odd story at Clemson, I’m also involved in broadcast journalism. More specifically, I’m a MMJ, or multimedia journalist- someone who shoots, edits, and appears on camera. And while I am a one-woman band almost 10703598_10152786989657969_6910119212326874354_nalways, there is one thing that I need help for- interviewing people on library bridge.

I’ve been asking questions on library bridge since freshman year. Sometimes I move towards the Wendy’s area of campus if it’s a slower day and I want more long-form answers. I’ll ask students about anything from Miley Cyrus to the worst present they’ve ever received. Halloween is one of my favorite times to interview, and this year was no different. The Clemson kids dominate the costume scene. Mario Kart Luigi chucking bananas everywhere; a baby squirrel; Dora the Explorer. I hope to have the video up soon and will post it here when it’s ready. Happy Halloween!
