Interview with Leon Wiles about Diversity and Inclusion

Blogger by night; intern by day. I’m a UPIC student journalist for Inside Clemson.

Last week I interviewed Clemson’s Chief Diversity Officer Leon Wiles about diversity and inclusion initiatives. We discussed some initiatives currently in place, and what he’s planning for the future. Mr. Wiles thanked students, faculty, and staff for voicing their opinions and encouraged the campus to work together to make positive changes:

I wanted to highlight the Diversity and Inclusion fund because I’m all about promoting the fact that you can get money from Clemson for a project.

SIDE NOTE: If you’re interested in working part-time for Clemson, I highly recommend the UPIC program. They have internships in multiple fields and offer great opportunities for students. And no- UPIC didn’t ask me to write this blurb!

My blog and my work at Inside Clemson are separate, but I will be posting my videos on here for you to view.
